Covid-19: Ensuring our essential services go uninterrupted whilst upholding the health & wellbeing of our people
Faced with this global pandemic, our absolute priority is the health and wellbeing of our people, customers, suppliers and communities across the UK.
Many of our operational colleagues continue to work to support our customers where required - operating in-line with government advice and adapting constantly to fast-moving changes. We extend our heartfelt thanks to them. This is helping to allow the UK to continue to function, ensuring that buildings & infrastructure critical to the national effort such as hospitals, emergency services, central government, transport & logistics and energy production are able to continue safeguarding the most vulnerable in our society.
To overcome this crisis, to support all workers delivering key frontline services, and to protect each and every one of us in the UK, we ask that everyone follows Government advice on social distancing, the application of protective measures and to stay at home wherever possible - many of our office-based colleagues are embracing new ways of working remotely, where their work allows.
During these unprecedented times, we continue to work closely with all our partners to remain resilient in the face of these challenges.
Business continuity plans are in place across each of our operating divisions.
