ENGIE Ride 2018
26th June 2018
ENGIE Ride, our annual sponsored cycling event, returns this year between 4th and 7th July.
A team of 29 cyclists from ENGIE will be joined by six riders from some of our key suppliers to complete the classic four day London to Paris route: London – Calais – Abbeville – Beauvais – Paris, aiming to raise at least £25k for the ENGIE Chosen Charities – Macmillan, Mind and The Prince’s Trust.
The riders will be setting off from a site in South London tackling 80+ miles of hills and Kent countryside before boarding a ferry to Calais. On days two and three, the riders will head through the North France countryside, including the Parc Naturel Régional des Caps et Marais d'Opale, before arriving at the Eiffel Tower. They will end their 300 mile ride at ENGIE Group's Head Office in La Défense, Paris.
ENGIE Ride 2018 would not be possible without our headline sponsors and key suppliers - WP Group and Finning UK, along with Logstor, Suez, Bosch, Nationwide Platforms, St Gobain Glassolutions, YESSS, Edmundsons, Travis Perkins, BSS, Power Testing, and Bunzl Cleaning & Hygiene Supplies. These suppliers & partners continue to generously support this annual event and we are delighted to welcome along riders from WP Group, Finning UK, Logstor and Bosch to make this a true partnership event.
The ENGIE Chosen Charities are ENGIE UK’s corporate charity brand and support our purpose, to improve lives through better living and working environments, by supporting people’s well-being and enabling people to achieve their potential. We have set a target to raise £300k in three years for these incredible charities and are well on the way having already raised over £170k.
