Corporate Social Responsibility
Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) days allow our employees to help out within the local community with important causes. Our CSR days give our employees the chance to make a difference in the local community through volunteer work. This volunteer work gives our employees and company, the opportunity to create a substantial positive impact on the local community with significant contributions.
Charity
Throughout the year we look to support charities through various fundraising activities. Supporting causes which align with our company ethos is an important part of our businesses and allows us to support our staff in their fundraising efforts whilst highlighting the key work which many charities within the UK do.
CSR Days
CSR days are back at ENGIE
CSR days have long been a part of the company ethos at ENGIE, with employees completing 2 days volunteering at a local charity per year. Sadly, during the pandemic, CSR days were put on hold for safety reasons. But now they’re back, and we were really excited to get involved once again!
Leeds North and West foodbank
Our Energy Supply Business Transformation Team recently volunteered for the Leeds North and West foodbank. The team provided a donation point with the ENGIE UK headquarters where employees could donate ambient food items and other items to support the foodbank.
Surplus to Purpose
Our CoT Team & I&C Customer Service team recently volunteered at Surplus To Purpose, an environmental enterprise which specialises in the interception of surplus food destined for waste.
The team spent the day at Surplus to Purpose supporting them with various tasks. The team resupplied the product baskets with fruit and vegetables for customers to buy.
