Suffolk County Council
ENGIE is responsible for the operation, maintenance and energy efficiency of building services plant at around 250 civic buildings, including schools, care homes, fire stations, community centres and council offices in North Suffolk. The contract also delivers building fabric maintenance and provision of small works as and when required. The existing contract builds on a strong relationship that has been built between the two organisations since 1996 which originally saw ENGIE delivering small works and larger project works for the county.
ENGIE also pro-actively explores and evaluates opportunities within the county for improving energy efficiency. Previous project work has included 15 biomass boiler projects and several photovoltaic installations.
