Sullom Voe Terminal, Shetland
Operating and maintaining this critical EnQuest facility, reducing costs and guaranteeing a secure energy supply.
Sullom Voe Terminal (SVT) is one of the largest oil and liquefied gas terminals in Europe, built between 1975 and 1981 and covering 1,000 acres.
- The SVT power station supports an electrical demand of 20MW and a thermal demand of 120 tonnes/hour of steam.
- ENGIE operates the power station to ensure reliable supplies of power and steam (as well as nitrogen and compressed air to the terminal) to provide energy securely to the site at a steady cost which is unaffected by external energy price fluctuations.
