All ENGIE catering staff are qualified to level 2 CIEH food hygiene, supervisors and chefs to level 3, and Chef Managers to level 4. All staff receive regular refresher training.
We use our marketing expertise to increase the use of your catering facilities to achieve consistent revenues. We keep customers interested and offer a number of initiatives, such as promotions or special menus.
We carry out regular surveys to assess customer satisfaction. These are used to identify ways to improve our service and continuously increase quality and customer satisfaction. Customer feedback is also used to improve training, menu planning and food service.
We have introduced cashless systems for our clients, which speed up the process of staff buying food, improve restaurant hygiene, reduce risks for employees and provide greater security. We have also linked hospitality to meeting booking systems.
Food safety is at the heart of our approach. All our services are provided in line with our Food Safety Manual. This includes HACCP and any relevant local operating procedures, process maps and forms. This manual has been developed in line with applicable food safety law. Compliance is regularly audited. Food labelling clearly identifies items that are nut-free, dairy free or gluten free, where applicable.
ENGIE adheres to UK Government Buying Standards and we ensure that the catering service delivery is as sustainable as possible, minimising the amount of ‘food miles’ incurred. We are committed to 100% UK-sourced produce, with all fresh produce sourced from within 100 miles of its destination.
