Planning
ENGIE has an award winning planning services team based in North East Lincolnshire, underpinning, supporting and enabling the right growth and development to regenerate areas and create a desirable environment for local people to live and work.
The planning process is often viewed as a challenge with hurdles to overcome, but this needn’t be the case. Our specialist team can provide the help and advice you need for your ideas to become a reality, whilst being sympathetic to local requirements.
We offer an extensive range of planning services to both the private and public sector, working with architects, developers and local authorities along with colleagues across the business to offer a fully integrated approach. This ensures that all aspects related to planning are considered, such as infrastructure, ecology, transport links and the highways network.
Planning services include:
- Planning application support
- Appeals, public inquiries and hearings (including expert witness services)
- Listed buildings, conservation and heritage advice
- Site appraisal and strategic planning advice
- Energy and infrastructure
- Planning support and top-up services for Local Planning Authorities
- ENGIE Arboricultural Services
Building Control
Complementing our Planning Services Team, Building Control will support you throughout the build process to ensure the design and construction meets the appropriate health and safety standards and that you comply with building regulations.
The team can support housing developers, offering an in-depth service with the technical expertise to advise on all aspects of building control including access, acoustics, appropriate means of escape, energy efficiency and sustainability.
Working with developers from the design and pre-application stage right through to completion, our specialist technical advice and cost saving solutions minimise risks and deliver high quality completed projects.
Our team also supports commercial developments, which through partnership arrangements, can provide expert nationwide building solutions through building regulation and assessment services throughout the construction programme.
For commercial projects our team also includes qualified Fire Risk Assessors who can undertake a detailed fire risk assessment and produce a report which will identify any steps needed to improve your fire safety.
We are committed to working as part of your design team, providing essential free pre-application advice and help to develop solutions.
