Miya Paolucci is appointed new ENGIE UK Country Manager

Effective 1st December 2023, Miya Paolucci takes on role of UK Country Manager, in addition to her role of Managing Director for Energy Management in the UK.

She succeeds Kevin Dibble, who will now focus his strategic vision and leadership on the challenges and opportunities in the UK Flexible Generation businesses.

In her expanded role, Miya will play a pivotal part in steering ENGIE UK through the next phase of its development. She will leverage her extensive experience in the energy sector to represent ENGIE and support the businesses, to achieve the ambitious growth targets in the UK. The trajectory will see ENGIE bolstering its prominent role in flexible energy storages, both in power and gas, areas of longstanding expertise. In addition, ENGIE has clear ambitions to expand its portfolio of onshore renewable energy projects and develop further biomethane production capacities. ENGIE will also collaborate with Ocean Winds, a 50-50 JV with EDPR, to contribute to the massive development of offshore wind capacities in Scotland. These developments will be key to supporting ENGIE’s 17,000 UK business customers in their decarbonisation journey.

Miya Paolucci joined ENGIE in 2006, as European gas and electricity retail markets were opening to competition, to head teams in charge of the development of marketing offers, sales channels and commercial partnerships.. In 2014, Miya moved to Romania, where energy markets were emerging, as Director for Energy Management and Trading and ExCom member of ENGIE Romania SA. During her assignment, she grew a robust activity and participated in shaping the Romanian wholesale markets, hand-in-hand with internal and external stakeholders. Miya joined ENGIE UK in September 2019, as Managing Director for Energy Management and Director of several ENGIE’s UK-based companies. Miya has taken the role of UK Country Manager in addition to her current role, representing ENGIE and supporting the Group's investments ambitions in the country. Miya is French, with a multicultural heritage and background, and speaks many languages. She also graduated from ESCP Europe.
