Apprenticeships at EQUANS offer a real alternative to university, as well as helping those further along in their career to continue to learn and develop. Our aim is to lead the way in delivering award-winning apprenticeships to those of all ages and backgrounds.

You will be given opportunities to unlock your own potential and achieve your career aspirations. No prior experience or qualifications are needed as with an apprenticeship you gain the relevant knowledge and training required for the job.

You will be supported to achieve a recognised qualification and given the opportunities to help shape the future of the business - all whilst gaining invaluable experience at one of the UK’s largest services, energy solutions & regeneration firms.

What we offer?

All our apprenticeships are full-time paid roles and involve doing meaningful work whilst supporting the attainment of industry-recognised qualifications. You will be taught valuable skills and given the experience needed to help build life-long careers within the industry.

Our apprenticeships vary from between 12 and 48 months, dependant on the apprenticeship. This could be foundation, intermediate, higher or degree level.

With over 100 apprenticeship standards, we classify our apprenticeships in the following categories to help you navigate our vast offering, including:

Your Learning

Our apprenticeships are built around government standards and are tailored to help you achieve your qualification and career objectives.

Your training will be provided via day release, block release or the trainer coming to your workplace. You will also be supported by a Skills Coach who is provided by the training provider who will offer one-to-one skills training to develop you in-line with your apprenticeship.

A requirement of all apprenticeships is that they adhere to 20% off the job training, this is defined as learning which is undertaken outside of the normal day-to-day working environment and leads towards the achievement of the qualification. Examples include online learning, practical training, shadowing, mentoring, assessments and many more.

We take an approach of collaboration, working to support you in reaching your end point assessment (EPA) and allowing you to have a fulfilled career at EQUANS.

Application and Selection

We recruit on a business needs basis meaning there are not set cohorts of apprentices but a recruitment process which takes place all year round. Our applications are carried out in the same way as our other job applications and can be applied for here.
