ENGIE partners with Leeds Rhinos Foundation to champion inclusivity
ENGIE and the Leeds Rhinos Foundation have today confirmed a new partnership to champion diversity and inclusion in the city of Leeds
ENGIE Supply UK is proud to announce a new headline sponsorship with the Yorkshire Rewilding Network (YRN), a grassroots charity dedicated to restoring natural ecosystems and inspiring community-led environmental action across the region.

This partnership affirms ENGIE Supply’s commitment to sustainability and investment in local communities. As part of the ENGIE Supply ‘In the Community’ scheme, a £20,000 donation has been approved to support YRN’s core activities, including rewilding in schools in Yorkshire.
Yorkshire Rewilding Network (YRN), founded in 2020, operates with a positive and inclusive ethos, bringing together individuals passionate about rewilding—regardless of land ownership. Entirely volunteer-run, the charity’s initiatives include educational webinars, winter workdays, visits to rewilding sites and a regional project map. ENGIE’s funding will enable YRN to expand its reach through new events such as workshops, speaker panels, film screenings, and musical performances.
A portion of the funding will also support a rewilding initiative at schools across Yorkshire. The project will involve habitat mapping, student-led activity planning, and on-the-ground improvements to enhance biodiversity—aligning with ENGIE’s Supply’s youth and nature themes.
As headline partner, ENGIE Supply will be prominently featured in YRN’s promotional materials, newsletters, and events throughout the year. The ENGIE logo will be displayed on the YRN website and at sponsored activities, with ENGIE representatives invited to attend events.
“Partnering with the Yorkshire Rewilding Network is a natural extension of our commitment to sustainability and community engagement. At ENGIE, we believe that restoring nature and empowering local voices go hand in hand. This collaboration allows us to support meaningful change while inspiring future generations to care for the environment.” Lindsay Crowther, Engie Supply UK

“ENGIE’s support allows us to scale our impact and bring the magic of rewilding to more people, especially young learners. It’s a powerful example of how corporate and community collaboration can drive meaningful change.” Jeff Davitt, YRN
